Your outstanding grassroots action has paid off once again. HB 1134, the Right to Self-Defense bill, passed the state House yesterday 48-19. (For background, click here).
Now the bill heads to the Senate, where it may face stiff opposition.
Action:
HB 1134 has been scheduled for a vote in the Senate Judiciary committee on Monday morning, Feb. 6. Please contact the committee members listed below and ask them to support this important bill.
Because of time constraints, email is probably the best mode of contact. The committee members email addresses are listed below. Your message need be no more than “Please vote YES on HB 1134” in the subject line. You can also use the sample message below to help direct your comments.
